Free Trial Terminator Developers
Developer preview of the Free Trial Terminator cancellation API: credentials, supported workflow, and technical resources.
What FTT provides
Free Trial Terminator provides structured infrastructure for external AI assistants and applications to integrate subscription cancellation capabilities.
The API supports three core operations:
- Check cancellation status.
- Request cancellation execution.
- Retrieve cancellation proof.
FTT maintains authoritative responsibility and owns:
- Authorization.
- Execution decisions.
- Canonical state.
- Audit records.
The integration audience comprises external AI assistants and applications.
Supported workflow
All integrations follow four standardized workflow tiers:
- GUIDE: unauthenticated general guidance with no case access.
- ASSIST: reads canonical status after verified binding.
- INITIATE: reads status and requests explicit confirmation without changing state.
- EXECUTE: submits the canonical execution request with an idempotency key.
ASSIST, INITIATE, and EXECUTE require an FTT-issued HTTPS handoff link valid for no more than 15 minutes.
Passwords and API keys must never be pasted into chat.
Channel-adapter production wiring is not currently supported.
Prerequisites
To integrate with Free Trial Terminator, callers require:
